I put the pumpkin in the crock and started heating it up.

In about an hour, I mashed the pumpkin with a potato masher then added some red bell pepper, (about 1/4 of one, sliced), 1/2 onion, and diced 2 apples.

Let that cook for another hour.

Homemade Ice Cream
 (Philadelphia Brand)

3 quarts half and half
2 1/4 cups sugar
Dash of salt
3 tablespoon vanilla
Mix together in ice cream can; cover with lid and freeze.
Alternatives: Add miniature chocolate chips or crushed peppermint candy.

Finally the library got in "Sugar Baby" by Gesine Bullock-Prada!!   
It's a cookbook just for sugar. I have heard so much about it through her blog and from people who follow her on facebook, I just couldn't wait for the library to get it in. Kroger company makes a pretty good cookie dough, that you pull apart and bake. Well, knowing me, I just had to make it home-made or from scratch. Made this Chiffon Cake and as I was sharing with a friend, they asked how much sugar was it in. I looked at the recipe and realized I forgot to add the sugar.  1 can Rolled Crescent (8 count)
1/4 cup butter, melted on cookie sheet
1 teaspoon cinnamon, sprinkled on cookie sheet
1 tablespoon white sugar, sprinkled on cookie sheet




 Take each Rolled Crescent and fold in half, then twist it. Roll into butter, sugar, cinnamon mixture, that is on the cookie sheet and put to one side of the cookie sheet. Repeat with the other 7 rolls. These are the only two ingredients: Milk and Greek Plain Yogurt, that's it.

Follow your manufacture manuel for the yogurt maker.
Basically you take 1/2 gallon whole milk and heat it, until it reaches 180 degrees (F), 100C on the thermometer. Take it off the stove and let it cool down until 110 degrees (F), 40C. Put in it your yogurt maker and in about 2-3 hours it's done!! This picture is the inside, (hadn't quite finished at this point).  I knitted in the stockinette stitch, knit one row and pearl one row. 50 stitches across and then folded in half for double warmth. It is almost 6 feet long, which he wanted. Topsy-Turvy Honey Apple Pie                              Crust:2 ½ cups flour1 teaspoon salt3 ounces or ¾ stick butter (cold)2/3 cup vegetable shortening (cold)½ cup ice cold water
