Day 2 of Ice Cream

This sounds easy enough and refreshing!!!

Lemonade Ice Cream

4 cups whipping cream
1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1 12-ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
Yellow food coloring if you want, several drops
In a medium bowl, combine whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk, lemonade concentrate, and, if desired, food coloring.
Pour cream mixture into freexer canister of 4 or 5 quart ice cream freezer. Freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
Enjoy!

What a GREAT idea Glenda. I've always wanted to do 30 days of something and like you say, with this heat, is there anything better than with ice cream!!! I really should invest in an ice cream maker. Oh I know you can toss the ingredients around and make your own but I'd rather have an ice cream maker, lol.

There are a few ice cream "holidays" in August. Here's a quick run down:)
14- National Creamsicle Day
18-National Ice Cream Pie Day
19-Soft Ice Cream Day (the root beer float was also "invented" on this day: I did a post last year, I think:)
21-National Spumoni Ice Cream Day

Thanks for sharing and Have FUN!!!

Thanks for you comment Louise! Hopefully next summer, I will be able to have an ice-cream maker again. I didn't know about the holidays, cool! Thanks for sharing.

I come to apologize to miss seeing your comment on my post. I want you to know I really appreciate your visit and your comment. Thanks. I just got myself an ice cream machine 3 weeks ago. I have only made ice cream once but it did not turn out so well. I would love to try using your recipe for my next try. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to visit with you often. Cheers!
